Chris was a Commissioner for the city of Redondo Beach for 8 years and was awarded by the Mayor, Police dept. and Fire dept. for his good work, when he left. He did make sure that the city was in good hands though and recommended good friend and CYKC fellow black belt Kevan Hill to take his place as a Commissioner for the city of Redondo Beach. Chris is now a Commissioner for the City of Indio and always strives to move forward in anyway he can to help his community and the youth in it.
